Geoff McFetridge

Champion Don’t Stop is the moniker for graphic designer/illustrator/animator Geoff McFetridge. Geoff has been one of the most inspiring designers for me. It’s really nice to see his work gathered like this (although it’s easy to get lost…). Enjoy!
Andreas Samuelsson
Guess who’s updated? It’s our good friend Andreas! He has put some new work up and made some things available in his shop. He’s got such a fantastic grasp on distilling pop graphics and objects into bits and bytes and an even greater funny bone. Certainly a favorite, I think he may even have been mentioned here before, but it’s been a while.
Rumors
Rumors is a multi-disciplinary design collective based in Brooklyn and formed by Holly Gressley, Renda Morton, and Andy Pressman.
Holly Gressley graduated in 2004 from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Communication Design, working with David Carson and Ryan MGinness while in college. Her work has been published in The New York Times, Print, STEP and several books, and she has been named one of Print magazine’s “New Visual Artists” for 2008.
Before starting her own studio, Renda Morton worked at LUST in The Hague, Netherlands and freelanced in New York at Flat, Honest, Project Projects and Local Projects. Renda has a BFA in Interactive Media from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and currently teaches interactive and web design at Parsons in New York.
Andy Pressman studied graphic design at the Cooper Union in New York City and worked as a designer at the print and exhibition studio of Pure+Applied prior to opening his own graphic design practice. Andy teaches graphic design at Parsons, and information design at the Cooper Union.
Elisabeth Moch
There was a time I was super into Kirsten Dunst. I’m pretty sure I’m not anymore, but my friend Colin still sent me a text message last week telling me he just passed her on the street. I don’t think he expected me to be jealous, and was probably ‘just sayin’, but I think if it were sent to Elisabeth, she’d immediately reply with “where?” and try and get there as quick as possible.
Elisabeth is an illustrator from Germany who lives in Stockholm and is spending summer in Brooklyn. She draws alot of rad things, mostly fashionable people with nice hair, which of course includes Kirsten.
Hinterland
Swear to God, was just in conversation with the one person who works closest to Scott Buschkuhl, the principal of Hinterland Studio. I too am familiar with the man, and have to agree that 1) his laughter lights up the room, 2) as a caffeine sommelier he is unconquerable, and 3) he starts the AC before others show up, so it’s cool.
Cool, indeed.

If You’re Down With Me…
Garrett, Yvonne, and I put together a site here to gather some funds for the Lupus Foundation of America in honor of our friend P. There’s a tote bag (that won’t last long) you can get if you give some money, and you can listen to Tokyo Police Club while you do all of this.
Go to www.FriendsOfP.org.
